Impreza Performance & Engine Options
The Impreza comes standard with a 2.0-liter Subaru Boxer four-cylinder engine that produces 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. For more power, you can opt for an available 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer four-cylinder engine that produces 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission and standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
If you need a vehicle that can save you money on gasoline, the Impreza is a fantastic option. Impreza models with the base 2.0-liter engine have an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 34 miles per gallon on the highway and 27 miles per gallon in the city.
